As a featured vocalist I work with lots of big bands, smaller jazz settings, combos, orchestras, next to performing at weddings and doing theatre jobs (my guilty pleasure: I just love to combine some acting with my singing). I also perform as background vocalist with several bands.
I have been teaching at the Lighthouse of music in Maastricht for more than 10 years. I am currently a vocalteacher at Toneelacademie Maastricht, institute of performative arts.
Between 2001 and 2008 I did a couple of tours at jazz festivals as lead singer with a big band in the United States. September 2006 I was one of 12 finalists of the Mooi Limburgs Muziekfestival which was broadcasted live on television. Following that gig I was also allowed a solo spot on the dialect Festival “Nach van ‘t Limburgs Leed”. November 2015 winner of the Dutch Blues Festival (as a member of Phil Bee’s Freedom). January 2016 semi finalist of the International Blues Challenge in Memphis (as a member of Phil Bee’s Freedom). In november 2019 my first dialect single was released: “Wo blif de tied”. In december it entered the Top 10 and went to 1st position for two months in a row!
